Where do I return items if the library is closed?
There is a book drop at Spring Green Library for after hours returns. All of the materials may be returned in the book drop. Any materials that are returned before we open in the morning are considered to be returned the previous open day and any materials returned during open hours will be checked in on that same day. We are not responsible for materials stolen from an over-filled return book drop. The book drop is located on the back of the building on Monroe Street.
Do the Spring Green materials need to be returned to the Spring Green Library?
No. The Spring Green Library is part of the South Central Library System which has delivery service throughout the state. As long as you are a resident of any SCLS county (Adams, Columbia, Dane, Green, Portage, Sauk, and Wood) you may return the materials borrowed from the Spring Green Library to your local library and our delivery service will return the materials back to us. Materials returned on time at your local library are considered returned on time.
